Points are an embedded feature of our site that allow us to keep track of project submissions.
You earn a point every time:

- Your project is funded and you confirm you still want the materials within 6 days.
- You upload your impact letter and project photos on or before the due date.
- We receive your student thank-yous on or before their due date (if your project doesn't require student thank-yous, you'll receive this point automatically).
You spend points every time you submit a project. The βcostβ of each project depends on the request:

- Materials found in our vendor directory cost 1 point.Β
- Virtual class trip or virtual class visitor projects cost 1 point.Β

A βSpecial Requestβ for materials not found in our vendor directory costs 6 points.
If your project expires without full funding or you choose to remove it, the points that you spent will be returned to your account so that you can try again.
Where are my points?
To see what points you have earned, spent, or lost, log into your account and click on your name in the upper right hand side of the page. From the drop-down menu, click on 'Private info'. You'll see your points in blue, on the right hand side, in a grey box. You can click on your points to review your history.
