PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) is a tiered framework to support positive learning environments; teachers often create projects requesting reward incentives for this system. Projects are eligible to request these type of rewards materials as long as 1) the materials requested are otherwise eligible items, and 2) the project essay describes the direct student benefit of the items
What are examples of PBIS resources?
PBIS resources are typically items students can use in the classroom, or take home, that function as incentives or rewards for positive behavior.
Common examples include candy, toys, games, books, art supplies, play sets, and educational accessories.

Gift cards of any denomination cannot be requested. We recommend you instead request items similar to what the gift cards were intended for.
What should I include in my project essay?
Project essays must clearly demonstrate how the reward/gift will be used to provide a direct student benefit, or achieve a specific learning outcome. Teachers are welcome to include a description of the PBIS model, as it is used in their classroom, in their essay to help describe the project goal.

How do I complete my thank you package for PBIS projects?
In your impact letter, please describe how these items/rewards were ultimately used as in incentive/reward. Donors would love to hear how your students enjoyed them!
Your digital gratitude can show the items in action, either with the student(s) who received the item(s), or how you display/keep these items for retrieval (such as a prize box, reward cupboard, etc.)
Note: please be sure not to include any personally identifying information regarding students in your thank you package materials, though you can include photos with parents' permission.
