You can update your email address, password, name, birthday, contact information, and more at any time through your account.
If you're a donor, you can log in to your account using the email address associated with your donation. You may need to create a password if you haven't done so already. Your account will maintain a record of your past donations, contact information, favorites, any gift cards or credits associated with your account, as well as any saved payment information or recurring gifts.
If you're a teacher, you'll be able to access your current projects, project history, school, contact information, account credits, gift cards, and points. You'll also be able to find any donation information made under the same email address as your teacher account.
You can view or update your contact information, birthday, and payment information through the Private info tab.
Whatever change you make, be sure to scroll down and click Save changes whenever you update your information!
In the Teaching Details tab, you can customize how you publicly appear on the site. You can upload and crop your classroom photo and your profile photo (more on this below!), customize your public profile URL, and edit the welcome message that appears on your public profile.
You'll also make any changes to your school information and teaching details in the Public info tab. You can even customize how you appear when you donate to projects on the site (including your own).
Now, you have the option to upload a profile photo - this photo will display on all of your projects along with your classroom photo, and it will also display if you donate to a project publicly.
If you've created a Giving page, you'll have a dedicated tab just for that.

Important Note
The DonorsChoose team may update your school to Teaching Details → Update School Information if there is a report that you are no longer teaching at your previous school. You can update your school at any point from within the Teaching Details section of your DonorsChoose account.
If you have any live projects at that time, they will also be paused, and we will send you an email requesting details about your new school. Be sure to respond to this email from our team so your projects can be unpaused. If you are unable to locate the email from our team, please reach out via our Contact Form.
