How to manage your classroom photo
While you can't actually "remove" your photo-- as classroom photos are required-- you can easily replace it with another.
Read our classroom photo guidelines, then follow these steps to change your photo:
- Sign in to your account.
- Click on "Teaching details."
- Click the "Change photo" option just below your current classroom photo.
- Review the guidelines on the Photo Upload Page, then use the section at the bottom to upload your new photo.
- Read through our Terms of Agreement and confirm that you agree by checking off each box.
- Click "Upload," and you're done!
If your new photo does not appear immediately, refresh the page after a few minutes, and it should show up. If you check back 48 hours later and your new photo still has not appeared, see our photo upload troubleshooting tips!
How to remove your profile photo
Lots of teachers love having a profile photo that gives donors a sense of who they are. But your profile photo is an optional part of your profile--you can definitely omit it, if you’d like! Here’s how you can take down your profile photo:
- Sign in to your account.
- Click on “Teaching details.”
- Click the blue "Edit" button under your profile photo.
- Click "Remove photo."
That’s it! Your profile photo is now removed from your profile and all of your projects. You can always upload a new one by selecting the blue plus sign again on the Teaching details tab.
Troubleshooting Tips:
- Download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash (it’s free!)
- Check the size of your photo: We’ll accept photos up to 7 MB.
- Try uploading the photo again from another internet browser.
- If you're using Internet Explorer, you may want to try adjusting you security settings.
- If you are using a school computer to upload a photo, the issue might be related to your school internet security settings and the resulting upload restrictions. If you try the above at school and the photo does not upload, try to upload a photo from your home computer.
