If you request live items or animals such as frogs, butterflies, ant farms, or tadpoles, and your project is fully funded, you will be mailed a physical voucher from Carolina Biological, which you can then use to redeem the specific resource at your convenience.
Vouchers will be shipped to your school mailing address on file. You can see an example of a living resources voucher here. Redemption instructions are included, and redeeming a voucher will include all shipping costs.
If it has been over three weeks since your project order(s) were placed and you have not received a voucher, please contact our team so that we can follow up with the vendor on your behalf.
Note: if your project was created prior to 7/15/25, you will not receive a voucher. Instead, the vendor will email you directly to set up a direct delivery date of your resource(s).
