Got a gift code? Your DonorsChoose gift card or code can be applied to a classroom by following these easy steps!

Log into your account on DonorsChoose using the email address you registered with or, if you're a donor, the email address you previously used to make a donation.
Tip: If you don't have an account or haven't made a donation before, skip this step!

Locate your 10-digit gift code in your email, from the source, or on the right-hand side of your "private info" tab once logged into your account.
Tip: not all gift codes are attached to your account. As long as you have the 10-digit code, you're all set!

Choose a classroom project to support. If you're a teacher and would like to support your own class project, simply click the title of your class project in your account page. (If you haven't yet created your project, do that first!)
Tip: If you'd like to redeem any gift code(s) to your account without selecting a project right now, you can redeem your code(s) as account credits instead at www.donorschoose.org/credits.

Type the total amount you’d like to give in the white box and press give. If you're giving two $15 codes, for instance, enter $30.

Underneath "Complete your donation," click "Apply a gift or promo code"

Enter your 10-digit code and click "Apply." If you have any additional codes you'd like to enter, click on "Add another code."
Tip: If you're having any trouble applying your code, see our common error messages for more information. Or, if you have an expired gift card that you would like to renew, contact our team.

Double check that the "Total tax-deductible donation" is $0, unless you would like to give more than your gift code amount and will add an additional payment method.
- Click "Place my Donation", and you're all set! You should see a thank you message to confirm your gift.
