Update: As of October 20, newly submitted projects will not be considered for funding. Projects previously submitted with the campaign code SPORTSMATTER will still be considered for the match until all funding is applied.
Note: Any projects submitted for review between October 6 and 11 may take up to 8 business days to screen. Thank you for your patience!
Starting June 1, 2026, teachers can post qualifying projects for the DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation match offer. Approved projects will receive a 2X Match. That means a $20 donation will become a $40 donation.
If your project meets the criteria below, new donations on your project will be matched as long as funding remains. You will see the match offer applied to your project as soon as it is approved and live on the site. Please note, the match offer will not appear during Friends and Family Pre-Funding.
How to qualify:
- Teach at a historically underfunded school. Check if your school qualifies.
- Create a project and on the “HI” page enter the campaign code SPORTSMATTER by clicking "Apply a campaign code."
