Teachers can now add collaborators to their project to help spread the word, fundraise, and celebrate their students! Collaborators will receive emails to keep them in the loop about the projects they’re collaborating on.
What does a collaborator do?
Collaborators will receive a series of emails providing project updates and milestones. Collaborators will also receive tips via email to share and fundraise for the projects they’re collaborating on. Collaborators will not have the ability to make any changes to the project, the teacher will remain the sole project owner.
Who can be a collaborator?
Anyone who is invested in a DonorsChoose project! Teachers can add collaborators by logging in to their teacher accounts and heading to the projects dashboard. Collaborators can be co-teachers, admins, parents, guidance counselors - anyone teachers want to follow along with their project.

What emails will collaborators receive?
Collaborators will receive a short series of emails for every project they’re listed as a collaborator on. These emails will keep you in the loop about fundraising, and let you know when the project is fully funded - so you can celebrate with the teacher!
The emails you receive as a collaborator will also include tips for fundraising with email links and social media shares!
I don’t want to be a collaborator anymore
If you no longer want to collaborate on a project, please reach out to our team, and we’ll remove you ASAP.
