If you had originally submitted your project on or before April 27th, you have a high chance of receiving funding, even if your project is still being reviewed.
Due to high volume, projects may take up to 10 business days to review, though most are reviewed within 8 business days. This turnaround time excludes weekends and federal holidays. Our team is reviewing submissions in the order that they are received.
Starting April 13th, qualifying projects will receive a one-time donation of $500, while funds last.
If your project meets the criteria below, the one-time donation will appear once it is approved and live on the site.
How to qualify:

Teach in a Pre-K or Head Start classroom in one of the states and counties listed in the table below.
- Only projects exclusively selecting the Pre-K grade level will qualify for this donation. Projects benefitting or selecting additional grade levels will not qualify.

On the “HI” page while creating your project, enter the campaign code “PNCGROWUPGREAT” by clicking "Apply a campaign code."

Create a project requesting materials to support outdoor play and outdoor learning experiences.
- Outdoor play is defined for this offer as unstructured or guided physical activity that takes place outside, giving students the space to move, connect with peers, and grow in ways beyond the classroom environment

After adding the campaign code PNCGROWUPGREAT, you will see the below green box on the HI page of your project draft, confirming you have added the code correctly.
Q: How can I ensure that my project is fully funded by the one-time donation?
Your project’s total goal must be lower than the $500 one-time donation amount. The total project goal is shown on your project as you’re carting materials. If your total project goal is higher than $500, your project will require additional funding from the DonorsChoose community in order to be fully funded and receive materials.
Q: How can I edit my project?
If your project has not received any donations, you can make any edits by returning your project to draft status. You can do this by heading over to the Projects section of your account and clicking on the "Return project to draft" button underneath your project title. Once your project is in draft status, you can make any edits and resubmit it. Then, it will be re-screened by our team and re-posted if eligible. Read more about editing your project.
Q: How is information gathered about my school?
We receive our school data (e.g. address) from a third party vendor called MDR. You can find out your school’s designation by visiting your school page through your teacher profile page.
