Classroom Connections is a new program designed to connect DonorsChoose classrooms with employees at our partner companies and organizations.
How does Classroom Connections work?
The program is a letter-writing experience that connects employees directly with classrooms, where (1) companies fund projects on DonorsChoose, (2) selected teachers work with their students to create one single classroom letter guided by prompts, (3) employees respond to classroom letters, and (4) employee letters are shared back with teachers.
How can I participate in Classroom Connections?
This program is currently by invitation only. If you're a teacher, we'll reach out to you directly if your classroom and project funding is a fit!
I've been invited to participate in Classroom Connections; how do I send my letters?
Thank you for participating! Please review the following guidelines and instructions to submit your letter(s):
- Please submit your letter(s) as a .pdf, .png or .jpg via the submission portal emailed to you
- While the portal is not accessible through your DonorsChoose teacher account, you do need to be logged into your teacher account to access the portal.
- If you can't find the email or are having trouble with the submission portal, please contact us!
I'm an invited teacher and I've submitted letters; what's next?
Sit tight! All classroom letters are screened by our trained team of volunteers to ensure that they meet our partner’s requirements and protect student safety. Once your letter has been reviewed, we will notify you via email with either a confirmation that your letter has been accepted or to request more information, if applicable.
If it has been two weeks or more since you submitted your letters and you have not received any communication from our team, or you have additional questions about follow up, please contact us.
