The content written on DonorsChoose.org is published in English by default, as that is the primary language of both US public schools and our staff. However, we understand there are a wide variety of additional languages spoken and read in the communities and schools that we serve.
While we are currently unable to offer customized customer support, permission slips, and other project support in all the languages spoken and read by our users, we acknowledge that documents and projects written exclusively in English may be a barrier for some schools and communities.
We have compiled some resources below to help with self-serve translations.

Permission slip translations
We currently offer our student photo permission slips in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, and Arabic.
Current Translations of Permission Slip Form
If you need the permission slip in an additional language, we recommend running the English text through a translation site, like Google Translate. Or, if you have access to someone who is bilingual in English and the additional language, you can also have them translate our permission slip and create your own. It's not necessary that it be our exact language/form; what's important is that you have written permission that you are able to post photos of your students for your records.
If you have any questions, or if you have encountered a language-related challenge on our site, please contact us. We would love to hear your feedback as we further develop resources for multilingual support.
