Update 4/26/21: Funding for the 3X Match Offer has been fully applied to eligible projects, and donations are no longer being matched.
Update 4/2/21: Funding for the 2X Match Offer has been fully applied to eligible projects, and donations are no longer being matched. Funding for the 3X match offer for teachers who have never had a project fully funded before is still available, and eligible projects will continue to receive the match.
What kind of match?
Starting February 11th, all qualifying projects will receive a 2X match. That means a $20 donation will become a $40 donation. Teachers who haven’t had a project fully funded on DonorsChoose before can qualify for a 3X match.
If your project meets the criteria below, new donations on your project will be matched as long as funding remains. You will see the match offer applied to your project as soon as it is approved and live on the site. Please note, the match offer will not appear during Friends and Family Pre-Funding.
How to qualify for the 2X match offer:
- Teach at a school in Wisconsin.
- Create a project.
- Keep your total project goal under $1,000, including taxes, shipping, fees, and the suggested donation to support DonorsChoose.
How to qualify for the 3X match offer:
- Follow all of the criteria listed above.
- You haven’t had a project fully funded on DonorsChoose before.
