-----------------------------------

Starting August 28th, your financial literacy project can come to life at half the cost thanks to matched donations from Charles Schwab Foundation. They’re proud to support financial education projects in classrooms across America with this 2X match offer!

Bonus for teachers who are new to DonorsChoose.org: if you’ve never had a fully funded project on DonorsChoose.org, use the instructions below to receive a 3X Match thanks to extra support from Charles Schwab Foundation.

Here’s how to qualify:

  • Create a project promoting financial literacy in your classroom.
  • Keep your total project goal under $500 including taxes, shipping, fees, and the suggested donation to support DonorsChoose.org.  For this opportunity, teachers can access up to $3,000 dollars from Charles Schwab Foundation, across multiple projects.
  • Select “Financial Literacy” as your subject area when creating the project.

Create your project

If your project meets the criteria above, you should see the match offer applied to your project as soon as it’s approved and live on the site (however, it won’t appear during Friends and Family Pre-funding).  New donations will be matched one-to-one or two-to-one as long as funding remains.
