2X Match for California classrooms affected by the Carr wildfires, thanks to Horace Mann

Update 1/18/2019: We have expanded the match to include the following districts: Chico Unified School District, Durham Unified School District, Oroville City Elementary School District, Oroville Union High School District, Paradise Elementary School District, Paradise Unified School District.

Thanks to funding from Horace Mann, projects from California schools affected by the Carr wildfires can qualify for a 2X Match, helping educators replace damaged items, create new learning environments and provide school supplies or clothing.

Here’s how to qualify:

  1. Your classroom is in one of the following California school districts:
    • Cascade Union Elementary School District
    • Chico Unified School District
    • Columbia Elementary School District
    • Durham Unified School District
    • Enterprise Elementary School District
    • Gateway Unified School District
    • Grant Elementary School District
    • Junction Elementary School District
    • Oroville City Elementary School District
    • Oroville Union High School School District
    • Pacheco Union School District
    • Paradise Elementary School District
    • Paradise Unified School District
    • Redding School District
    • Shasta Union Elementary School District
    • Shasta Union High School District
  2. Request anything your classroom or students need as you rebuild and recover.
  3. Keep your total project goal under $2,000, including taxes, shipping, fees, and the suggested donation to support

You should see the match offer applied to your project as soon as it’s approved and live on the site (however, it won’t appear during Friends and Family Pre-funding).  New donations will be matched one-to-one as long as funding remains.
