Starting March 19, projects from schools in select LA county cities can come to life at half the cost thanks to matched donations from Kathleen and Chip Rosenbloom. They’re committed to equipping teachers in the highest-need communities in Los Angeles with the tools they need to provide a quality education for their students. Thanks to this 2X Match offer, projects from the cities below will receive dollar-for-dollar matched donations while funding lasts.
Here’s how to qualify:
- You teach in Hawaiian Gardens, Walnut Park, La Puente, Lennox, Marina Del Rey, El Monte, Compton, Paramount, South El Monte, Lynwood, or South Gate in LA County, California.
- Create a project requesting anything your students need.
- Keep your total project goal under $1,500, including taxes, shipping, fees, and the suggested donation to support DonorsChoose.org.
If your project meets the criteria above, you should see the match offer applied to your project as soon as it’s approved and live on the site (however, it won’t appear during Friends and Family Pre-funding). New donations will be matched one-to-one as long as funding remains.
