Starting October 23rd, qualifying projects will receive a 2X match on new donations. That means a $20 donation will become a $40 donation, and so on.
If your project meets the criteria below, new donations on your project will be matched as long as funding remains. Once your project is approved and live on the site, you will see the match offer displayed on your project page.
How to qualify:
- Teach at a school where 51% or more of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch
- Teach in Dallas, Texas or Atlanta, Georgia
- Create a project and select the STEM subject area. Please ensure accurate representation and select the corresponding subject area only if it aligns with your project.
- Ensure that your requested materials are Computers & Tablets, Instructional Technology, Lab Equipment, Educational Kits & Games, or Art Supplies
- Request under $1,000 for your total project goal, including taxes, shipping, fees, and the suggested donation to support DonorsChoose. Projects with a total project goal higher than $1,000 will not qualify. This is about $800 worth of materials.
