Sometimes, projects don’t move forward as planned. When that happens, your donation is credited back to your account. You can choose to apply it to another project, or send it to the original teacher you supported as a gift card. If you know the teacher who you supported personally, we’ll automatically send your donation to that teacher for use on their next classroom project.
Here are a few reasons why you may have received account credits from a project that didn’t move forward:
- The project expired before it was fully funded.
- The teacher changed schools, grade levels, or subject areas.
- The teacher needs different materials, so they removed the project and created a new one.
- The school has regulations that prevent the requested materials from being used properly.
