If you are no longer teaching full time or take on a new roles that makes you ineligible for our program, we will move forward with closing your account. At that time, any of your projects that have not yet had materials purchased will be removed from our website and any funding already applied will be reallocated to the donors. If you have received the materials for a project but not yet returned thank-you notes, we ask that you contact our team to determine next steps.
If you change schools, but remain eligible, please refer to our guidelines to determine what should happen to materials you have already received. Also, we ask that you change the school listed in your account at that time.
If your account is closed but you begin teaching full time in the future, contact our team at that time we will be more than happy to re-open your account so you can continue to use DonorsChoose.org.
