If you are no longer employed at an eligible school or no longer hold an eligible teaching role, your DonorsChoose teacher account will be deactivated. You will still be able to use DonorsChoose as a donor, using the same login credentials, but you will no longer be able to post projects or accept donations on our site.
At that time, any projects that have not yet had materials purchased will be removed from our website, and any funding will be returned to the donors. If you have received materials for a project but have not yet completed your thank-you package, please contact our team to determine the next steps.
What if I become eligible again in the future?
We would be happy to reinstate your teacher account! Please contact our team at that time, and we will update your teacher account so you can continue using DonorsChoose.
