If you run into any trouble with shopping from our vendors while creating a project, try these tips for avoiding common errors:
- If you're unable to add an item to your cart, make sure you have a quantity and color/type (if required) selected.
- Many vendor catalogs are optimized to work on a desktop or laptop computer, instead of a phone or other mobile device.
- Be sure to use an updated browser. Many older versions of Internet Explorer won't work as intended.
- Make sure your browser is allowing pop-ups from DonorsChoose.
- If you are shopping through one our vendor sites, and your materials do not transfer to your DonorsChoose project cart or your cart does not look correct, you may need to click your browser's refresh button.
- Specific items will not transfer from to your cart from Amazon Business:
- Items that are not marked as "Prime Eligible"
- Apple devices (iPads, MacBooks) - these can be found through our vendor Best Buy Education
- Chromebooks - these can be found through our vendor CDW-G
- Used or refurbished items
- Digital content (eBooks, mp3's, downloadable software, etc)
- Specific items will not transfer from to your cart from Amazon Business:
- Save your work if you're planning on taking a break! Click "check out" or "transfer cart" from the vendor to save your items in DonorsChoose. You can always come back and add more items to your project later.
