After making a contribution, each donor receives an immediate email confirming the donation. This email also acts as a receipt for tax-deduction purposes. (If paying by check, the receipt is sent once we receive the check.)
The fun doesn't stop there! Once the project is fully funded, all donors will receive an initial thank you note from the teacher. This is usually sent within a week of the project being funded - but varies a bit depending on each teacher's schedule.
After the materials have been received by the classroom and the project implemented, donors will receive email notifications about digital photos being posted, as well as a letter from the teacher explaining the impact of your donation on the classroom!
Finally, donors who give $50 or more will receive letters from the students served by the project. On average, these arrive about three months from the day of the donor's initial donation - but often much sooner.
