Which teachers can use

Here’s the scoop: You’re eligible to register for a teacher’s account if:

  • You’re a front-line educator, teaching in full-time or full-time equivalent position at a United States public, public charter school, or Head Start Center in the US; and
  • You work directly with students at least 75% of the time; and
  • You’re willing to work with your students to complete a Thank-You Package if your project is fully funded.

We can't accept registration from: principals, administrators, PTA members, teachers' assistants, paraprofessionals, student teachers, substitutes, part-time teachers, after-school teachers, or staff developers. Educators at non-profit, private, or parochial schools are not eligible, even if the private program partners or contracts with a local school district.

We know that educators teach in a lot of different ways, and not everyone spends all day in one classroom. We’ve had awesome projects posted by librarians, guidance counselors, school nurses, and full-time teachers who are also coaches. As long as you meet the criteria above, you’re good to go!

If you fit the criteria, what are you waiting for? We know you’ve got tons of ideas that will help your students, so register for an account on!

Not sure if you’re eligible? Contact us to explain your position, and we’ll be happy to provide more specific guidance.
