Submitting a class trip project for next school year

Projects should be submitted for the current school year, though you are welcome to submit a trip project over the summer for the coming school year if you confirm the following:

  • You're teaching at the same school in the fall.
  • You know exactly how many students will participate, or the cost isn't dependent on the number of students. DonorsChoose.org can't cover an increase in cost due to additional participants.
  • The trip takes place between 2 and 8 months from the date you create the project. This is our year-round guideline for trip timelines and ensures there's enough time the project to seek funding that you and your students can provide prompt follow-up for donors.
