How does it work?
Starting February 10th, highschool teachers can earn a $65 DonorsChoose gift code by teaching at least one of EVERFI’s 306 lessons, while funds last. The lessons in 306 help set the foundation for your African American history curriculum, and the lessons in Continuing the Story share Black experiences and stories that are not often told, and in some cases have been purposefully silenced.
How to qualify for the rewards
- Teach in an 8th - 12th grade classroom.
- Check out EVERFI’s 306: African American History or 306: Continuing the Story - Black History Curriculum
- Each 306 section has 4 lessons
- You can preview each lesson on EVERFI’s website
- Choose one lesson from either section to teach to your students
- Sign up on EVERFI and register your students. Check out this one-pager for step-by-step instructions.
- Teach your chosen lesson to at least 10 students.
- Once at least 10 of your students have finished one of the lessons listed in Step 2, navigate to your dashboard, and sort the dashboard so that students who have completed the lesson appear at the top. Here's any example of what your dashboard should look like:
- After your students have completed the lesson, fill out the Classroom Rewards form.
Fill out the Classroom Rewards form
Once we review and approve your Classroom Rewards form, we will send you your $65 DonorsChoose gift code. Expect to receive your gift code within 2 weeks of submitting the Classroom Rewards form.
Please note, you will only be able to submit this form once. Our team is unable to make any changes or edits to your responses. Once you have submitted, you will not be able to retake the survey, and our team won’t be able to re-open it for you.
