With gratitude to Disney and FIRST.
As the world’s leading youth-serving nonprofit advancing STEM education, FIRST inspires young people to become science and technology leaders by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs. In FIRST® LEGO® League, children ages 4-14 are introduced to the fundamentals of STEM through fun, exciting robotics-based learning, inspiring youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, and design skills. FIRST passionately believes that every student should have the opportunity to explore the wonders of science and technology – regardless of how or where their education takes place this year.
More than ever, our teachers need the tools and resources to deliver FIRST LEGO League and inspire the next generation of creative thinkers and problem solvers. That’s why we’re proud to collaborate with Disney to support our teachers and provide opportunities for youth to access life-changing robotics programs through in-person and remote classroom environments. With the generous support of Disney, FIRST contributions are matched to fund classroom projects and ensure students of all backgrounds and in communities everywhere can experience the rigor and excitement of hands-on robotics learning.
