Thanks to generous funding from Next Gen Personal Finance (NGPF), high school teachers like you are invited to use free financial literacy resources (including projects, activities, case studies, interactives, data crunches and fine prints) from NGPF.
Through NGPF’s partnership with DonorsChoose.org, NGPF will be bringing their engaging and easy to implement activities to thousands of classrooms. NGPF knows that you understand the importance of financial literacy, so they developed a list of their most popular resources for you to use with your students (see list below). To thank you for bringing this gift of financial literacy to your class, NGPF is offering DonorsChoose.org funding credits which you can apply to a classroom project request of your choosing. All teachers who work with students in grades 9-12 are eligible for this rewards program. To ensure as many teachers as possible can participate, this offer is currently limited to one classroom reward per teacher. We'll update this page if we're able to offer teachers the opportunity to earn a second classroom reward.
Three Steps Is All It Takes!
- Sign up for the Next Gen Personal Finance program. We only have 2,500 slots available so be sure to sign up ASAP. We’ll close the signup form and update this page once all the slots have been filled, so rest assured that if you’re able to sign up, spaces are still available and you should go ahead and get started.
- Engage your students with one of these Next Gen Personal Finance resources. You can expect these resources to take 30-60 minutes of class time.
- Complete this follow-up report on your students’ experience by March 14, 2017. As part of the report, you’ll be asked to upload 5 samples of student work.
The NGPF team will review your report, and if you’ve met all the requirements, they will email you a $100 DonorsChoose.org gift code by April 15, 2017. Thank you!
